![]() ![]() The Reddit-based sieges have been the week’s predominant financial news story. Buoyed by their GameStop success, WallStreetBets has already turned its attention to several other stocks, piling into AMC, the movie theater company, and BlackBerry, catapulting those shares too. There’ve been some immediate consequences. Previously it was invite only,” Rogozinski says. “You have a group of individuals who have managed to force their way into a seat on the most exclusive poker table. The little guys had conquered the giants, adopting tactics the goliaths themselves often use to move stocks and ply the markets, like derivatives trading and the orchestrating of a concerted PR campaign. One of the hedge funds, Melvin Capital Management, reportedly needed a $2.75 billion emergency cash infusion to keep operating, and another, Citron Research, cried uncle and closed out its GameStop investment. And in the process, they got to shove their fingers in the eyes of finance’s elite. The Redditors, collectively, had decided the company-an ailing artifact of a different era with declining sales for three straight years-deserved a lifeline. They did it to turn up the pressure on several hedge funds who had sold the stock short, taking positions that would rapidly decrease in value if shares went up. What’s he talking about exactly? Beginning last week, WallStreetBets, a 3 million-person group of mostly young, mostly male amateur investors, banded together to rocket the stock of video-game retailer GameStop into stratospheric orbit-from around $40 a share to over $400 a share. “What’s being accomplished now is what Occupy Wall Street tried and failed to do-a power shift, a shift in some control from Wall Street to Main Street.” ![]() “No.” Because unlike the fictional character, Rogozinski believes he moved with intentionality, knowing exactly what he was unleashing. I highly recommend this game if you want a MX sim that isn’t super hard,(But challenging) with less of a clunky pre determined arcade feeling.“Am I Frankenstein?” he asks out loud. (A lot of little riding techniques in real world apply to this SIM, counter leaning in corners, stand up and throttle into the apex, sit while on the brake, roll on the throttle out etc.). The physics are so technical that a huge difference in control can be found by rider positions, brake forces, THROTTLE CONTROL. No training tutorials just a test track, and a garage. Moto is HARD, (Most physically demanding sport in the world) this game is hard and simulates real riding physics, on the assumption that you ride already or have a basic knowledge of the sport and bikes. This game is the best MX game I’ve ever played, PERIOD but If you want an arcad, easy to play MX game like MXGP or MX vs ATV reflex, expecting to just jump on a 450F and throw some greasy whips on your very first go with ZERO temper tantrums…….It’s not going to happen. To put this into perspective, this game is basically simulating Gumby, on a bucking bronco and you have to try and keep him on for an entire lap. Then unfortunately not much happened in the season. In 1982 there was unfortunately no place for me at KTM, I couldn’t quite get along with Puch, so I had to spend a year with Yamaha and got my first Grand Prix victory in Maggiora relatively quickly with a really standard machine. Up there we have the weak point in my career, a Japanese Yamaha.
